Universal Studios Florida will present 10 haunted houses, five spooky areas and two shows to bring the deepest fears to life

Universal Orlando Resort has revealed more gruesome details about the impending terror awaiting guests brave enough to take on Halloween Horror Nights 2022 – including the six horrifying original concepts that round out this year’s lineup of 10 haunted houses, five spooky zones of scaring and two live shows. As the world’s premier Halloween event turns 31 this fall, a haunting conglomeration of unfathomable experiences inspired by traditional Halloween elements and some of guests’ worst fears come to life in the original collection of haunted houses and this year’s spooky zones – unleashing everything from vengeful pumpkins and witches to twisted deceivers and grotesque insects to prey on guests. When guests need a break, they can watch two outrageous live shows, satiate their appetites with deliciously delicious food and drinks, shop for the latest merchandise at an all-new Halloween Horror Nights Tribute store, and enjoy the rides the more exciting Universal Studios and attractions.

Six terrifying and unsettling stories will wrap guests in quirky haunted houses where they can:

Enter a disturbing speakeasy from the 1920s to discover that they are the main ingredient of the witch’s brew in “Spirits of the Coven”
Face a putrid infestation of spiders, cockroaches, flies, bees and more in “Bugs: Eaten Alive”
Escape or fall prey to a fanged creature that is no longer mythical in “Fiesta de Chupacabras”
Try to survive visiting hours for horrific monsters serving their time in “Hellblock Horror”
Endure a petrifying winter storm in a seaside village ruled by an undead fisherman in “Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake”
Meet bloodthirsty mutants living in a post-apocalyptic subway system in “Descendants of Destruction”
