Three detached houses proposed for land in Castle Erin Road

Three detached houses have been offered for the land at Castle Erin Road, Portrush.
The site is located near the coast of the seaside town between the promenade and the railway line. It is relatively flat land which then slopes steeply down to the Promenade and the beach.
The main part of the Castle Erin site now benefits from planning permission for housing and apartments, granted by Planning Appeals in 2020. This development consists of the development of 10 semi-detached houses and 11 apartments.
A supporting planning statement says the proposed development will provide a high quality, sustainable living environment close to the center of Portrush. He will enhance this site and respect its setting. It will provide an attractive site layout and meet all of the “Create Rhythms” requirements and policy tests of PPS 7.”
The request will be presented to the planning committee in the coming months. The plaintiff is Sarcon (244) Ltd.
